I pray that my testimony and these God-inspired poems will touch the hearts that need to be touched and enrich the lives of all who read them.
Concerning my testimony, I want to tell everyone that God has not changed, that His power is still available to heal and bless even today.
when we use our faith in His Word to overcome the tests and trials that come our way, we then have a testimony in which to glorify our God (Rev 12:11)
My work is all about God and what He has done in my life. I give Him all the Glory!
And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and the
word of their testimony (Revelations 12:11)
I can truly say that I have always loved God, and always had a tender spirit and wanted to do what was right; like some others, I strayed away from the righteous path and went the way of the transgressor. It was a very stressful time, and because of all the stress in my life, a disease found its way into my body.
Thank God! He is a forgiving God, and when I became a wife and mother I found my way back to the path that God the father had designed for me. He once again became real to me. I continue to grow in his grace, and hope to complete my course and to please him in all my ways.
I hope to glorify my Lord and lift him up to everyone who reads this account. My hope is that you will be blessed as you read my testimony, and also the God-inspired poems of actual happenings of my family and friends.
God bless you,
Ruth Byrge
You may look at my hands and see
they're all twisted.
But, I can tell you right now
in the eyes of God
You surely have missed it.
For God made my hands to serve Him this day.
And with hands that are crippled
there is just no way...
to comfort a crying baby or lay hands on a fevered brow
or extend a hand in welcome,
But, now let me tell you how.
I see my hands as God sees them
strong, flexible and whole.
Reaching out to the poor and the needy
laying hands on the sick and
those who have been brought low.
My desire is to do God's will on the earth
and this from a loving heart.
As I present my body to Him, well
this is just my part.
In the last of these Last days
Let's walk by faith, not by sight.
So, with this in mind my dear brother and sister
Let's keep walking in the light.

"The Greatest Gift Ever"
God is so good! I guess in the years that I was married to Charles; I assumed he was a Christian. Whenever he was asked, he would respond with "I'm a member of such and such church."
On Christmas 1994 I was led to give devotional books to the men in the family. Charles especially was delighted. He not only read the devotion to me each morning but also read through the Old Testament that year.
On December 2, 1995, he announced to me that he had made Jesus the Lord of his life. I wrote this down in my journal.
He went home to be with his Lord the following March 1996. I am so glad that I was obedient to the prompting of the dear Holy Spirit that preceding Christmas. The saving of one's soul is the greatest gift ever.

Hi Ruth, I enjoyed your testimony
I'm homeless and I have a 10 year old daughter. I live with my brother and sister in-law and they been very unkind to us. I came seeking a better home for my two children, my son was 17 and not finished with school yet, but my brother gave him such a hard time I had to ask God to send him away; he is now Finished with school and has much brighter future.
I give God all the glory and praise, now my baby girl is left and I need to get her out of this house. I have no home and I know this is not what God had in mind for our future .
Pray for me and my daughter. I have given them all I had now I can't find a home or a place where there are children for her to play with,
I thank God for you, a true believer.
Why is it so difficult for our educators and society, in general, to understand that love and respect for one another taught from a young age can solve much of the world's hostility and social problems!
"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" (Prov 22:6).
Love is the answer!
True loyalty springs from the heart and is wrapped in love. It is often in our most private moments that true loyalty, or the lack of it, is made known.
