"Giving - Expression of Love"

"For God so Loved the World that He Gave" (John 3:16)

When we see a giving spirit

We can't help but be reminded;

Just check the giver, and you'll see

There's always Love behind it;

With Rita, I have an acquaintance

Although, I regret I really don't know

And yet, through reports from others

Her good works begin to show.

I know she has Love and compassion

For to one, this she has already shown,

When she got word that a jacket I admired

She set out to find for me exactly what I desired.

Thank you, Rita, For the gift

It can't help but a friendship start.

That's what happens to us when

We reach out and touch a heart.

Love,

Ruth 4/99

"Power Within"

When the Spirit gets to moving through a praise

or through a song,

we lift our hands up to Him and voices great

and strong.

What a joy to praise Him, He who died for you

and me,

He who healed the sick raised the dead and

touch the blind that now they see.

Now He says that we are like Him, greater works

are we to do.

All it takes is to believe, have faith and then

the works we will pursue.

Without Him, we can do nothing. Check His word

yes, that is true,

and yet because we are in Him as we walk this

great earth, His power within us will more

than take rule.

"Joy and Happiness"

Joy and Happiness:

I say to myself as I arise from my bed,

I will be glad and rejoice for the day that's ahead.

He fills me with such wonder. His love is so great!

I can't help but be happy with each day that He makes.

I love Him so much, and He loves me too.

I seek to please Him and His perfect will to pursue.

There is nothing so great than to walk with Him,

to feel His presence all the way and the while.

Then at the end of it all as I look upon His face

to hear Him say: "Well done my child."

The Greatest Expression of Love is Giving

"Lets Teach Our Children to Love"

Why is it so difficult for our educators and society, in general, to understand that love and respect for one another taught from a young age can solve much of the world's hostility and social problems!

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" (Prov 22:6).

Love is the answer!

Loyalty and Faithfulness

True loyalty springs from the heart and is wrapped in love. It is often in our most private moments that true loyalty, or the lack of it, is made known.
