"Questions About Salvation"

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Please pray to Lord Jesus for my Salvation, to save my Soul! Please ask Him to remove everything hindering my Salvation and that I may be truly born again.

To strip off all my pride and self-righteousness and idols and all my sins and hidden Sins and to take away my heart of stone and give me a heart of flesh.

Please pray to Him that I may truly submit and surrender All of myself to Him completely and forever and To let me trust in Him alone to save me and wholly cast myself upon Him and be truly born again."

Jesus Paid it All

Response:

Hello, I certainly appreciate your sincerity and desire to serve the Lord. Yes, we will certainly pray (and expect God to answer).

Your question reminds me of a time when Jesus was talking to a man about salvation and "When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, 'You art not far from the kingdom of God'" (Mark 12:34).

Perhaps the most wonderful thing about becoming saved is that Jesus has already paid it all, you don't have to do anything to earn salvation, it's free!

And He is ready and wants to come in:

Our Salvation is not by feelings but by faith. All we need to do is to believe this and allow Him to come in.

  • Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me, (Rev 3:20, NKJV)

Invite Him In

A favorite verse from the Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

You already believe in God and that Jesus is His Son, so all you need to do is to ask Him to come into your heart and He will, and He will also send the Holy Spirit to live within you for eternity. Sounds almost too simple, doesn't it! But that is what His word says.

Jesus said:

  • "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37).
  •  And: "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9 KJV).

Only One Way to Enter Heaven

There is only one way to Heaven, and only one true God, all others are false.

  • Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me, John 14:6, NKJV)

Other religions are required to do something as if they could perhaps earn their way to Heaven, but that is useless because those religions don't serve a real god and can't possibly have anything to offer. All they can do is worship an inanimate object and receive nothing in return.

The real God is a Spirit that cannot be seen with human eyes, but one day, we Christians will see Him in Heaven and what a beautiful day that will be. But He sent Jesus to show us what He is like, and Jesus can be seen because He had a human body which has now become a glorified spiritual body like the one we will one day have, and it will live forever. All we need to do is to believe this and ask Him to come into our lives. Isn't that great!

Our Salvation is not by feelings but by faith, so when you first ask Christ to come in, you may only have the wonderful sense of knowing that you are now born again and belong to Christ, and will live in eternity; and that is normal. But you will begin to recognize him more and to sense the happiness and joy of the Lord as you continue to believe, pray, and listen for Him.

Faith is the Victory

Faith is the way to victory in everything we do concerning Christ, and you have enough faith to be saved because God has given every man/person the measure of faith; which means at least enough faith to be saved, and then you can then begin to grow your faith even more.

God tells us how to be saved in terms that are so easy to understand, but people often stumble over its simplicity.

So, stop trying to figure out what you need to do to be saved and accept what God's Word tells us, and that is to believe.

  • "So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household," (Acts 16:31, NKJV).
  • "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation," (Rom 10:9-10, NKJV)

You already have enough faith and everything else you need to be saved!

Jesus loves you and died in your place to pay for all your sins; now, all you need to do is to believe and accept His plan of salvation.

Questions about Salvation

"Lets Teach Our Children to Love"

Why is it so difficult for our educators and society, in general, to understand that love and respect for one another taught from a young age can solve much of the world's hostility and social problems!

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" (Prov 22:6).

Love is the answer!

Loyalty and Faithfulness

True loyalty springs from the heart and is wrapped in love. It is often in our most private moments that true loyalty, or the lack of it, is made known.
