  5. My Childhood Dream

"My Childhood Dream"
I was Afraid

When I was five, my mom and her new husband kidnapped me from my father. Well, the abuse started right away.

My mothers husband was physically beating me, and she was helping him. Then the sexual started, and then the mental, and my mother would help him.

At this point, I was about seven or eight years old, and I didn't understand as a child why we moved so much. I do now. Obviously, you don't wanna get caught press the child; I didn't understand.

So we were at a rest stop during one of our moves. It was in the middle of the night. My sister and I were sleeping in the front of a pickup while he and my mom were sleeping in the back in a nice comfy little trailer.

I had to go to the bathroom, so I got out to walk to the restroom, and I was terrified of the dark and was scared to death.

I'm walking to the bathroom, and on the way back to the truck, I look in the sky and see from the shoulders up Jesus's face.

Obviously, we did not practice religion. I didn't even know what Jesus looked like, honestly, other than my mother had a last supper picture; that was the only thing I ever saw him.

It scared me so bad I screamed because I woke them up, so the next day, I got beat for waking them up by Screaming, but I will never forget that.

I would just like to know what did that mean?

Response

Hello Cindy, thank you for contacting us.

There are many entries on our Trusting in Jesus dream pages from adults who still remember their dreams and actual Spiritual Encounters with Jesus as children. And He has never left them, and He will never leave you!

Jesus loves children, and I feel certain that your vision or encounter with Jesus, even as a child, was His way of letting you know He loved you. You were, and still are, on His mind; He has plans for you and will never leave or forsake you.

If you have been Born-Again, He has sent His Holy Spirit to be with you continually.

The Holy Spirit is One of the (The Trinity) of God and, along with prayer, is a way of communicating with you.

In John 14:16, the word Parakletos is used for Comforter, which means our teacher, guide, and helper, this is The Holy Spirit, Your Friend:

I pray you will seek the Lord with all of your heart and that He will bless every area of your life.

I will be happy to answer additional questions.

Samuel

My Childhood Dream

"Lets Teach Our Children to Love"

Why is it so difficult for our educators and society, in general, to understand that love and respect for one another taught from a young age can solve much of the world's hostility and social problems!

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" (Prov 22:6).

Love is the answer!

Loyalty and Faithfulness

True loyalty springs from the heart and is wrapped in love. It is often in our most private moments that true loyalty, or the lack of it, is made known.
