"Faith is an Act"

Today, when any sickness, disability or infirmity happens, the vast majority of people put their faith in doctors, pills, potions, etc .... but there is a far better way!

The following true story is an example of what God wants to achieve in anyone who has sickness, disabilities, troubles, hurts, etc, etc.

A woman had heard of people receiving healings at a small church in England. She said, “What can you do for me? I have had sixteen operations and have had my eardrums taken out.” The minister, Smith Wigglesworth, a total believer in the love and power of God said, “God has not forgotten how to make eardrums.” She was so deaf that he believed she would not have heard a cannon go off. He anointed her and prayed, asking the Lord to replace the eardrums. But afterward she remained as deaf as it was possible to be. However, she saw other people getting healed and rejoicing.

Had “God forgotten to be gracious” (Psalm 77:9)? Wasn’t His power just the same? She came back to the church the next night and said, “I have come to believe God tonight.” Take care that you do not come any other way. Smith Wigglesworth prayed for her again and commanded that her ears be loosed in the name of Jesus. She believed, and the moment she believed, she heard. She ran and jumped on a chair and began to preach. Later, a pin was let drop, and she heard it touch the floor. “With God all things are possible.” (Matt 19:26) God can heal the worst case.

Discouraged one, “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you.” (Psalm 55:22)Look to Him and be radiant (Ps 34:5). Look to Him now!

Thought for today  : Faith is an act; faith is a leap; faith jumps in; faith claims. Faith has an Author, and faith’s Author is Jesus.

God wants people to come to Him believing and asking to fix their disabilities, infirmities and sickness ... Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages).

He hasn’t forgotten how He was raised from the dead, and how through Him the dead were raised, the sick healed, the 5000 fed, etc, etc.

Matt 8:16 When evening came, they brought to Him many who were under the power of demons, and He drove out the spirits with a word and restored to health all who were sick.

Matt 8:17 And thus He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He Himself took [in order to carry away] our weaknesses {and} infirmities and bore away our diseases.

He knew and believed Luke 1:37 For with God nothing is ever impossible {and} no word from God shall be without power {or} impossible of fulfilment.

Again... Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages).

Simply believe, ask and expect!

How can you be equipped to do this?

Jesus gave the example of baptism. He went under the water of the River Jordan and leaving the old Jesus (the carpenter) behind, He came up and was anointed with Father’s Holy Spirit, ready for His purpose on earth ... to teach, to demonstrate the power of God, to die and live again, to show the world the power of God over ALL the powers of evil, including sin (separation from God) and death.

So, if you are wanting to be blessed by God, and believe in Him and have never been baptised as Jesus was, take the step of faith and whether it be in a river, a lake, a pond, the ocean or even under a shower, repent (change how you think) and ask forgiveness of all disobedience and be washed clean and be made a new spiritual creation by God .... ask also that you be anointed by His Spirit so that He can live through you.

His Holy Spirit (Comforter, Counsellor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby) to represent Lord Jesus and act on His behalf, He will teach you all things.

"Lets Teach Our Children to Love"

Why is it so difficult for our educators and society, in general, to understand that love and respect for one another taught from a young age can solve much of the world's hostility and social problems!

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" (Prov 22:6).

Love is the answer!
