Diamondback Rattlesnake"

I would like to share my testimony with the world and hope it will inspire others to grow spiritually. 

On Friday, June 21, 2019, my life was forever changed. I am from a small town about 30 minutes from Gainesville. I've had this residence since the early 90's. Although it's a country setting, I've never encountered anything like this before. 

On Friday, June 21, I opened my gate to my property and drove into my driveway. I had groceries in the car and was in a hurry to put them away so I could visit some friends.

Once I pulled into the driveway, I jumped out of the car very quickly and started walking toward the gate to close it back.

Diamondback Rattlesnake

All of a sudden, God's voice spoke to me very BOLDLY! He said, "BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR NEXT STEP, LOOK DOWN!" My foot was stopped in MID-AIR! And when I looked down, there was a DIAMONDBACK RATTLESNAKE underneath my foot! 

He was absolutely still as if he was DEAD! I kept my eyes on him as I slowly backed away. I'm not an expert on snakes, but I knew by the patterns on his back and the shape of its head that it was a very dangerous snake.

 Once I made it safely back into my car, I immediately called my cousin to come out there to see this snake because he wasn't moving! It took my cousin at least 20 minutes to get there, and the snake was still in the same place as I initially saw it. 

When my cousin and his friend arrived, my cousin's friend said, "Oh, that's a BAD BOY right there!" I asked if it was dead. He said, "Absolutely, NOT!" He's very much alive! He then shot the snake and disposed of it! 

No Weapon Formed Against Me... 

The moral of this testimony is that some of us have fallen by the wayside, and we think God no longer cares or look out for us, but I know for a fact that I'm COVERED with the BLOOD OF JESUS!

There is no way on earth for me to have been that close to a DIAMONDBACK RATTLESNAKE, and nothing happen if God had not intervened! 

For people and other situations who may be trying to cause harm in my life, I say, "No Weapon formed against me shall prosper!"

I'm more confident in this statement now than I've ever been in my life! I want others to join me as I renew my strength in the Lord. Amen.

Why is it so difficult for our educators and society, in general, to understand that love and respect for one another taught from a young age can solve much of the world's hostility and social problems!
