If we base our self-worth on our ability to meet specific standards we often feel like failures. Then we fear failure, and sometimes we do fail, but God has a solution for fear of failure. He has placed on us a value that’s secure and entirely apart from our performance.
God’s solution is justification; which means a right standing before God through Jesus death on the cross which paid for our sins; This is one of the truths of God’s word that we can use against the false belief that "I must meet certain standards to feel good about myself."
I Have at times had to deal with my value. The thing that has helped to set me free of performance is to realize that although He could have made anyone, God chose to create me because he especially wanted me (Faye). He knew that at times I would fail and not make the best choices, but He still chose me to be.
When we have trusted in Christ for our salvation we can say, I am deeply loved; I am forgiven; I am pleasing; God accepts me; I am complete in Christ.
God has credited to you the righteousness of Christ. You can do nothing to add to or take away from what Christ did for you on the cross. As a result of your justification, you are forgiven and fully pleasing to God.
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Rom 5:1)

"My Valley"
While walking through this valley
All weary and worn.
While walking through this valley
All tattered and torn.
My heart is so lonely
My burdens are so heavy.
While walking through this valley
I feel so alone.
Are you in a valley
Do you feel alone?
Are you weary
All tattered and torn?
Reach out to Jesus He is always there
Reach out as I did and you will find
Him there.
Then look up as I did seeing Jesus at your side
And by His presence you will surely know
That God is there and loves you so!
"...I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope...". (Hosea:2:15)NIV

Why is it so difficult for our educators and society, in general, to understand that love and respect for one another taught from a young age can solve much of the world's hostility and social problems!
"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" (Prov 22:6).
Love is the answer!
True loyalty springs from the heart and is wrapped in love. It is often in our most private moments that true loyalty, or the lack of it, is made known.
