"On Wings like Eagles"
By Guest Writer Pat Hughes

Today is March, 30, 2015, the beginning of a new chapter in my life. It is one I have chosen to take. It is God’s plan for me where doors will be opened to the hearts of those who read what is written.

My claim to fame is none nor do I wish to be exalted. However, obedience is what I desire knowing that it is His perfect will and a new season to share what He wants His children to know. It is an exciting time with new life from the ground up, beauty and sweetness that only the master could create.

With Easter fast approaching what a wonderful setting for those who know Him and what happened to change our life forever because we will never be the same.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”(Jer 29:11)

Do you know what His plans are for you and the gifts He has placed in you for His glory and honor? Spend time and ask because He is excitedly waiting to reveal the plans He has for your life.

But those that hope in the lord with renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint. (Isa 40:31)

What a glorious promise that is. Those that are mature and think it is time to be put out to pasture, might need to think again!

Never has there been a more desperate need for the unity of mature and the young coming together to teach them and help them to know things that sometimes only life can teach.

The new generations of today think the older folks are as strange as we think they are.  You know God never held that against us, so we all need to cut each other a little slack don’t you think?

"He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God who called you into fellowship with His son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful," (I Cor 1: 8-9).

"For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance of the Scriptures we might have hope," (Rom15:4).

It is a difficult time through out the world today.  Many losses suffered in the lives of our loved ones. My question to you is, do you know where you are going when you breathe your last breath? It is imperative that in your heart you know him and call him you’re God.

Find rest. O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. (Psa 62:5-8)

He so wants a personal relationship with you.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have ever lasting life.” (John 3:16)

Have you ever done something that is wrong? Everyone is a sinner and sin (the wrong things we do) separate us from God. (For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” There is punishment for the wrong things we do. This punishment is eternal separation from God in a place called “hell.”

But what is God’s desire and where does He want us to go? “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”   Jesus came to earth as a man. He lived a perfect life, and when He died, God punished HIM for all the wrong things you and I would ever do.

This is how much God loves you and me, and the reason Jesus came was to gives us a way to go to heaven.

But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.

It is easy to become a child of God. Admit that you are a sinner and be willing to allow God to change you.  Believe that Jesus is the son of God who died and was raised from the dead on the 3rd day, and He did this for you and me.

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved,” (Rom 10:9).

For who so ever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. I invite you today to make Him Lord of you life today.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying for me and offering me Heaven. I am sorry for all the wrong things I have done. Please save me and be my Lord and Savior. I give you my life and I ask you Holy Spirit to teach me in the way I should go. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Praise the Lord there is a new child of God in His house today, the Holy Spirit has moved in a mighty way. Hallelujah Praise the Lord, all the saints say,” there’s a new child of God in His house today.”

I am so thankful for you brother or sister in your decision to come to Christ and to be grafted into the Kingdom of God. For it is appointed unto to man once to die, and after this to face judgment.

Your sins are covered by the blood of Jesus and you are not doomed to go to hell, but will have eternal life in Heaven with GOD.  Praise the Lord!

Please let us know if you are a new believer today so we can pray for you.

"Lets Teach Our Children to Love"

Why is it so difficult for our educators and society, in general, to understand that love and respect for one another taught from a young age can solve much of the world's hostility and social problems!

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" (Prov 22:6).

Love is the answer!

Loyalty and Faithfulness

True loyalty springs from the heart and is wrapped in love. It is often in our most private moments that true loyalty, or the lack of it, is made known.
