Harold's Dream of Jesus
"In my dream I was sitting on a rock next to Jesus… we were laughing and talking but I cannot recall the conversation. Next to us was a group of men… but I couldn't see them. I gave Jesus a sword and a sheath but told him the sheath was cheap and that he might want to replace it...the group of men laugh in a friendly laughter… I dismissed myself and Jesus says, “I will see you soon.”
Interpretation by Toni
Harold: "In my dream I was sitting on a rock next to jesus..we were laughing and talking but I can not recall the conversation."
Toni: In the Bible a rock was a place of refuge:
"4354 ROCK - A symbol of strength and permanence and a place where people in danger often took refuge. God is depicted as the Rock of Israel, being the strength, security and deliverance for his people." (Biblegateway.com)
The conversation of you laughing and talking with Jesus is a reflection of your personal relationship with Him. Your peace & joy deepen, as you remain rooted in Him as your rock and fortress.
Scripture References for meditation:
1. "I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." (?Psalm? ?18?:?1-2? ESV)
2. "For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken." (?Psalm? ?62?:?1-2? ESV)
Harold: "Next to us was a group of men..but I couldn't see them. I gave jesus a sword and a sheath but told him the sheath was cheap and that he might want to replace it..."
Toni: The group of men next to you and Jesus foreshadows an opportunity call appearing for you to share the good news of Jesus with other men as you lead them to salvation by displaying Jesus's non-judgmental love & grace to all who will receive it.
A "sheath or sword" Biblically means "words." The Bible relays how we are to execute the sword in Christ effectively as believers...
Scripture reference:
"and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God," (?Ephesians? ?6?:?17? ESV)
Next, we are reminded how to use the sword with wisdom in relaying the good news to others being careful not to "thrust" our swords critically causing more harm...
"There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing." (?Proverbs? ?12?:?18? ESV)
So this portion of the dream is leading you to evangelize other men in a way that reflects the true loving nature of our Lord by demonstrating the same love towards them as Christ has to you:-)
"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—
by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (?Ephesians? ?2?:?4-10? ESV)
Harold: "the group of men laugh in a friendly laughter..I dismissed myself and jesus says, I will see you soon."
Toni: The ending portion of this dream is the successful result of Jesus reminding you that you have evangelizing work to do until you see Him again by winning others you encounter to accepting Him as their personal savior & rock as well:-)

Study of the Gospel of John
Why is it so difficult for our educators and society, in general, to understand that love and respect for one another taught from a young age can solve much of the world's hostility and social problems!
"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" (Prov 22:6).
Love is the answer!
True loyalty springs from the heart and is wrapped in love. It is often in our most private moments that true loyalty, or the lack of it, is made known.
