Answered Prayers
"Delayed only, not Denied" 

I Thessalonians 5:16-17   Rejoice always: pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Daniel 9:21-23 while I was still speaking in prayer, then the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision previously, came to me in my extreme weariness about the time of the evening offering. And he gave me instruction and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you insight with understanding. At the beginning of your supplications the command was issued, and I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed; so give heed to the message and gain understanding
of the vision.

"Then he said to me, Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words. But the prince of the kingdom Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia" (Dan 10:12-13 ).

God answers prayers; however the example above shows us how our prayers can be hindered. Needless to say some of us give up before we have the answer. Some of us feel unworthy of even what we are praying for and write it off as I am not good enough to get my prayers answered. That’s a lie don’t buy it.

Spiritual things are escalating in this world and in the heavenlies. Satan is playing a hard game, he has to play hard because his time is about over and his task is to take as many people as he can with him to hell! However, we have been given the victory before we even have the problem to pray about. 

Let me repeat this because it is so important to get this fact, and that is we are victorious even before the issue comes into our life. We are not alone; He will never leave us or forsake us.

Pray with out ceasing, is placing prayer before the problem. Pray without ceasing is playing defense before the game begins. Praying without ceasing will bring less interference because you have already laid down your defensive line, and it wins!

As it is evident in the scriptures above your defensive line must be set in place before the war begins. In doing so we can rest assured that our answer will come. For Daniel it was held up twenty-one days and as for us, we must hang around long enough to hear the answer. God will not try to run us down in all our busyness, I know this from experience.

Father teach us that the perfect way is to pray for your perfect will to be done in our life on earth as it is in heaven.  Holy Spirit teach us not to curse ourselves and those we are praying for by opening the door for satan to come in to steal, kill and destroy through our prayers that are not God’s will, but our will, for them.

 Who are we to exalt our will above the Father’s thinking that we know what is best?  Help us to learn to speak the Word of God over the lives of those we pray for because our tongue has the power to speak life and death.

The Word of God is life so help me to not interject my feelings or thoughts as to how you should do this Father, but for your perfect will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Why is it so difficult for our educators and society, in general, to understand that love and respect for one another taught from a young age can solve much of the world's hostility and social problems!

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" (Prov 22:6).
